As a paid subscriber, you’ll receive two to three in-depth thematic investment opportunities, which should give you a decent return in the following weeks or months. You may get information about company X, which is undervalued despite its good financial standing and good P&L statements, which, in the current geopolitical situation, should increase its value by 20–30% in 3-6 months.

If you act on and multiply such messages over 12 months, you end up doing only 3–4 transactions a month and getting a well-received profit. Remember: the more transactions you make, the higher the probability of losing money, and the more money your broker earns.

I use this strategy in my own portfolio, and I never write about something I am not actively allocating to. The average factor-based returns on our thematic baskets are comprised of a greater than 80% selection effect.
